Lewis Edgar Warwood, described as a labourer, failed to appear in answer to a charge of using indecent language in Bromsgrove Road on the 17th inst.
Pc Barleet proved the case and defendant was fined 10s and 7s 6d costs in default 14 days.
Charles Tolley, labourer, Redditch, was charged with a similar offence.
Pc Bevan stated the facts and defendant who asked for leniency, said he was excited and did not know whether he swore or not.
The Chairman: I am afraid there is a long list against you in that book.
Defendant: Yes Sir, but I am trying to get on. I am a teetotaller and I have not been here for some time.
The Chairman: I thought I had not seen you lately - (laughter) - and in consequence of your good behaviour you will only be fined 1s and costs 12s 6d allowed 14 days to pay.
