DROITWICH produced a good away performance, controlling the game almost from start to finish, with the forwards producing a steady supply of quality possession coupled with a dynamic driving moves.
Some of the forwards ball handling and interpassing was excellent, with No.8 Jon Andrews and prop Greg Garfield to the fore, allowing the backs to show their improving skills. After a good break by full-back Simon Mountjoy, winger Jamie Faulkener scored. Faulkener added a second shortly afterwards. Not to be outdone, Leon Hopkins on the other wing completed the first half scoring.
Droitwich continued in the same vein in the second half, with Faulkener completing a well-deserved hat-trick. Greg Garfield completed the scoring when he crashed over from short range. The reliable Matt Blackmore kicked four conversions but he was sin binned near the end for dissent.
