THE Alexandra Hospital's League of Friends has been praised after raising an incredible £213,668 this year.
The money has been spent on a range of equipment and general comforts, including beds and furniture.
The chairman of Worcestershire NHS Acute Hospital Trust, Harold Musgrove, said the work of the league was invaluable.
He added: "The amazing amount of money they have raised is testament to the dedication and commitment they have to the hospital.
"And a big thanks goes to the league from the trust, patients, relatives and staff who all benefit from the equipment they purchase."
