A BEREAVED Spa mum has endured the inquest of her second son to die in his early 20s.

Margaret Lock, of Teesdale Close, went through the ordeal on Friday following the death of 24-year-old Robert who was killed when he choked on his own vomit in September 1999.

In April 1998, she sat through an inquest into the death of another son, Darren, aged 23, found hanged from a tree by his jumper.

Robert was found dead at 9am on Friday September 3 in the hall of a Worcester flat which he shared with girlfriend Tracey Dougan.

She was ill when he returned "extremely drunk" the night before. She found him the next day blue and cold.

After a post mortem, Dr Paul Dunn said the cause of the death was inhalation of vomit in a coma owing to an overdose of meth-adone.

Three weeks previously, Mr Lock overdosed on heroin but coroner Victor Round said there was no evidence he was a regular heroin or methadone user.

Mr Round recorded a verdict of accidental death at Worcester Magistrates' Court.
