A PARTY of more than 300 from Malvern Girls' College successfully negotiated the London Underground to complete a day at the Millennium Dome.
Plans for last Sunday's trip were hit by the fuel crisis, which led to the cancellation of a fleet of London buses taking them from Paddington Station to Greenwich.
But, with help from the Underground authorities, the day in the Dome went without a hitch. The girls particularly enjoyed the Rest Zone and Money Zone, with its chance to spend £1 million pounds.
"Everyone agreed there wasn't enough time to see everything but thoroughly enjoyed what they did experience," said spokesman Jane Potter.
