EACH time I go round the Barbourne area, I notice numerous drains are blocked up by leaves, rubbish, even grass grown over them.
I thoughT drains were for a purpose and supposed to be kept clear and to allow any surplus water to flow.
It appears all is slapdash and nobody cares anymore. No wonder it gets flooded in the Barbourne area.
What a slapdash country this is. In my working days any job had to be done quickly and efficiently, otherwise you would get a minute's dismissal. My first job was in confectory and bakery. You had to be polite to the customers. What a sad and sorry state we are in now. Nobody cares anymore.
