IRONICALLY, the recent fuel crisis has highlighted one big advantage (apart from their weather) that the continentals have over us, namely low fuel taxes.
The way forward, surely, is to embrace the EC properly and for Ministers throughout Europe to push towards harmonisation of fuel prices within the Community.
