ON West Malvern's final Sunday fixture of the year they entertained Rushwick at Mathon Court.
WEST MALVERN v RUSHWICK
Rushwick opened the batting but could not get to grips with the batting conditions or West' bowlers, losing wickets at regular intervals, with only T Williams causing the main obstacle with 31 runs.
West bowlers Andy Key taking three wickets for 28 runs off 10 overs and Steve Daly taking 5 wickets for 21 runs off 9 overs, his first five wicket haul for West Malvern. Rushwick ending their innings on 135 all out off 36 overs.
West Malvern's reply with the ever young Brian Pleass making one of his countless 50 plus scores finishing on 58 not out and also an excellent contribution of 34 from Alex Hall. West ran out easy winners at 136 for 3 off 28 overs.
Another successful and enjoyable season under the captaincy of James Blackshaw.
