WORCESTER City are set for a triple boost in tomorrow's home Dr Martens League Premier Division clash with Salisbury (3pm).

Defender Chris Green-man, winger Ian Reed and striker Micky Cotter all came through training last night and could be included in tomorrow's squad.

The trio are more likely to figure as substitutes al-though manager John Barton, whose squad has been ravaged by injuries in recent weeks, could throw one or more of them str-aight into the starting line-up.

Cotter has yet to play for City since his summer move from Tamworth after having a knee operation in pre-season, while skipper Greenman has been sidelined since last November with a similar injury. Reed has missed City's last six games with a hamstring problem.

Only Greenman has had recent competitive action with a couple of recent outings, and he seems the most likely to figure as Barton seeks to bolster a defence that has conceded 19 goals in nine games, this season.

He said: "We need to see what reactions they have, and we need to look at assembling a side that will be a little bit better equipped to deal with defensive situations.

"Throwing people straight into the first team when they have been out for a long time is always difficult. But sometimes you have to take a few chances and see what happens.

"Micky is busting a gut to get going and he hasn't had any football at all so far. He has worked very hard, as has Chris.

"Ian has never had a hamstring problem before, and it is probably one of the most temperamental in-juries you can have."

On the debit side, key midfielder Paul Carty is doubtful after injuring an ankle in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Bath. But Barton said: "There is quite a bit of swelling, but he wants to play and we are hopeful."

Martin Weir will face a late test on the calf injury that has kept him out of City's last two games.
