KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have cancelled the contract of defender Dylan Kerr with immediate effect after a breach of club discipline.

The former Kilmarnock campaigner recently signed a one-month deal with Harriers as cover for the injured Scott Stamps, but made only one brief appearance as a substitute.

Ruling out any chance of an extended stay for the ex-Leeds United player, Aggborough boss Jan Molby said: "Dylan went back to Scotland at the weekend to supposedly get some more clothes to bring down here despite the club doing all his washing for him.

"Anyway, he phoned me from Scotland on Sunday night to ask if he could have Monday off. I think he didn't fancy the six-hour drive back to the Midlands that night.

"That's not professional enough for us. We're a friendly club, but we are not a holiday camp."

Meanwhile, Kidderminster travel to meet unbeaten Cardiff City tomorrowe for a Nationwide Division Three match.

Goalkeeper Tim Clarke is expected to return following a recent knee operation.
