ALTHOUGH it may be still three months until the Festive Season, the town of Evesham is getting ready with a Christmas Jobsfair.
The event at the Riverside Shopping Centre on Saturday will be showcasing many of the seasonal vacancies on offer from local retailers.
JobCentre staff will be on hand to give information and advice on numerous retail and factory jobs over the holiday period.
"The Christmas Jobsfair is being organised not only to showcase the many jobs on offer this year, but to let people know what services are available at Evesham JobCentre," said the JobCentre business manager, Wendy Butcher.
"Apart from job vacancies and the help and advice offered to Jobseekers, we have employer facilities such as a free interview room and advice for local businesses on how they can make the best use of the employment service."
Major retailers including WH Smith, Thorntons, Woolworth's, Dorothy Perkins, and Argos will be represented, as well as local stores.
The work available is both full-time and part-time and anyone interested in finding out more can do so by visiting Evesham JobCentre, in Vine Street, or contact the vacancy services team on 01386 504450.
