INKBERROW rider Leslie Law won a silver medal at the Sydney Olympics earlier this week.
The 35-year-old was a member of Great Britain's three-day event team that was pipped for gold by Australia.
"They led from the start and probably deserved it on the day," Law admitted graciously after collecting his medal.
It was Britain's first Olympic equestrian medal for 12 years and they did it without the show jumping help of 1988 medallist Ian Stark, whose horse was injured in a fall during the cross country in which Law rode a clear round.
"Standing on the podium was the greatest moment of my life," added a delighted Law.
