SEVERAL members of Evesham Swimming club attended the annual and well supported biathlon in Burntwood, Staffordshire.
In the 12/13 year age group Cherrie Gayton and Sarah Pickering both achieved personal bests in their swims and the ten-year-old boys team consisting of Harvey Simms, Lee Cresswell and William Gayton came fourth overall. The latter also achieved a well deserved individual third place.
The nine/ten-year-old girls team consisting of Holly Burton, Harriet Turner and Frances Pickering picked up the trophy for first place with a resounding win in her age group.
After a superb run the latter also picked up a silver medal achieving second place individually.
In the mini section, for girls eight and under, Sophie Dagnall achieved a well deserved third place to claim the bronze individual medal.
