LEE Perry has had an excellent end to this year's season.
After a local event which didn't go to plan he still managed to take second place.
But it was the international event at Brighton which incorporated selection for the national team in next year's World Champion-ships in Canada.
After an excellent 1.5km swim, Perry was well placed for the 40km bike.
Holding on to this position Perry started his strongest discipline the 10km run. By powering through the field he claimed a coveted place in the national team.
Perry, a lecturer at Eve-sham College and member of Evesham Swimming Club, will now concentrate on the National Biathlon Champ-ionships in November, under the watchful eye of coach Paul Willis, when a podium place is expected.
