THE folly of the Quayside scheme has been admirably dealt with by Councillor Francis Lankester's and G Hutchinson's letters.
Support for it did come in a recent sole letter from a Labour supporter, which also included praise for "The Giant Angel" near Gateshead and how the local people were delighted with it. In reality they laugh at this monstrosity.
