MORETON-IN-MARSH INTEREST & LEISURE CLUB: The Club members enjoyed a really excellent lunch at the Wheelbarrow & Castle, after which they boarded the coach which took them on to the Evesham Country Park, Shopping and Garden Centre, where there are a huge number of wonderful plants and shrubs for sale as well as practically everything that is required for the garden. Inside the building is an interesting array of gifts, books and cards etc., next to a delightful restaurant called the Apple Barn where you can get all kinds of refreshments. There are lovely walks by the river and the Vale Wildlife Centre with many wild animals and birds showing the often unseen world of British nature. On the other side of the Centre is a row of interesting shops selling a variety of goods. Back on the coach Mrs Mavis Mclouglin gave a vote of thanks to Mr Ted Middleton and Mr & Mrs Tarplett for all their efforts organising the outing. Special thanks went to Bakers Coaches, who in spite of fuel difficulties made the day possible.
