FINGERS and toes are being crossed for the success of a charity concert.
The fuel crisis combined with a four-day phone fault means that ticket sales for the Hailes Festival Ensemble appearance in aid of Chron's in Childhood Research Association (CiCRA), are not as high as organisers would have liked.
Led by Bernard Partridge, the former leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, the evening will feature works by Mozart, Vivaldi, Haydn and Tchaikovsky.
