SALES of a picture history book about Stourport have been "extremely high" after it was launched on Saturday.
Images of England - Stourport-on-Severn, produced by Stourport Civic Society, was quickly snapped up at WH Smith and copies are also selling well at Oxfam in the town's high street and Dillons.
Readers can also buy the book direct from the civic society, which is going to plough all profits from sales back into town projects at later dates.
