THE sounds of Africa will reverberate through some very English roofs when a visiting choir calls makes two stops in the Cotswolds this weekend.
The internationally acclaimed and Grammy-nominated African Children's Choir is calling in to Kingham Hill School tomorrow (Friday) and St Mary's Church, Chipping Norton, on Saturday to demonstrate just why the young singers have packed in audiences wherever they have played.
Drums and ethnic instruments will accompany a wide variety of African music, children's songs, popular gospel songs and spirituals in the 90-minute concert.
Both concerts, each at 7pm, are free but there will be a collection for the work of Friends of the West, which supports the work of Children's Homes in Africa.
