On Monday, the employees of Messrs J Warner and Sons Hewell Works, journeyed to Bidford by brakes, where a most enjoyable day was spent.
Fishing, boating and picnicing was indulged in etc.
In the evening the party adjourned to Holland's where a capital tea was served.
Votes of thanks were passed to the firm for their kindness in giving the outing.
St Leonard's Church - On Sunday evening, the Rev John Longley, vicar of Saltley, preached in aid of the London Society for Promoting Christianity among the Jews.
The collection amounted to one guinea.
