THIS was the first meeting between the two sides in the League Shield.
Church started well and the first 15 minutes was even and then Church made some mistakes and Evesham scored three times in five minutes. Church tried hard to get back into the match and Danny Brazier scored to make it 3-1. Church seemed to be getting back on top when another mistake left the score at 4-1 at half-time.
Church made chances in the second half but never closed the gap, and with time running out Church Hill paid the price of putting men forward and Evesham scored two late goals. Ricky Gall was man of the match.
