PETROL stations in the Bromsgrove area say things have returned to normal today after the fuel crisis and deliveries are coming in regularly.

Despite yesterday's panic buying amid rumours that the blockade had resumed, no petrol station has reported a shortage.

Only the Marlbrook Service Station, in Birmingham Road, said that yesterday's rush had depleted stocks and it may run out. But Friday's delivery should restore supplies to normal, they said.

Other filing stations had run out of less common fuels. The Forest Service Station, in Birmingham Road, said it had no LRP fuel but a delivery was expected yesterday. All other fuels were available.

The Malgrove Superstop had no four-star petrol, but was receiving a delivery today.

Safeway petrol stations in Buntsford Park Road and Bristol Road South, Rubery reported no shortages, and said deliveries are still coming in.

Bromsgrove Service Station, on Rock Hill, had supplies and said things were quiet. The Birmingham Road service station, in Bromsgrove also said eveything was back to normal.
