IN the last league match of the season, Redditch put into bat on a damp wicket lost two early wickets.
Then Spencer Cox, 43 and Geoff Eley, 16, added 30 for the third wicket.
Chris Taylor with an excellent 49 not out, with support from skipper Paul Baker 20, enabled Redditch to post 159-7 off their allotted 45 overs.
In reply, Old Elizabethans made a bright start and put themselves with a good chance of victory until Chris Taylor, 1-29 off 19 overs, Steve Merry 1-23, Richard Young 1-13 and Wil Wilson 1-8 slowed the run rate with the visitors finishing at 107-4, giving Redditch a winning draw to crown a superb season.
