WORCESTER City opened their wins account in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Southern Division with a 2-1 win at Malvern Town last night.
The home side led 1-0 at half-time but City hit back well after the interval to clinch victory with strikes from Jon Pyatt and Wayne Lloyd.
City have arranged their FA Youth Cup second qualifying round home clash with Newport County for next Wednesday (September 27), kick-off 7.45pm.
n Bromyard Town are still searching for their first victory in the Banks's Brewery League Premier Division after a 4-0 defeat at high-flying Ludlow Town last night.
