TWO brothers used a stolen car to carry out a day-long burglary spree, Worcester Crown Court was told on Monday.
Mark Mellor, aged 22, of Gooch Close, Stourbridge, was jailed for two-and-a-half-years. He admitted car theft and four burglaries.
Anthony Mellor, 20, of Portway Road, Dudley, was given 18 months' youth custody with an extra nine months of unexpired sentence for theft and arson. He admitted three break-ins.
The court heard the pair firstly targeted a house in Hampton Lovett on June 20 this year before moving onto a property at Newland Common, in Droitwich.
They were eventually arrested in Ombersley.
