A DROITWICH Spa woman was this week recovering in hospital after a car crash.
Michele Lawrence, of Petersfield Drive, suffered multiple injuries last Wednesday afternoon when the Citroen Saxo she was driving was in collision with a Leyland DAF lorry on the A4025 at Chadwick Bank, near Stourport-on-Severn.
Ms Lawrence is being treated at the Alex-andra Hospital, in Redditch. Her condition was described yesterday as stable.
The lorry driver, Derek Marshall, of Sheffield, suffered leg and back injuries.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened as Ms Lawrence was driving towards Stourport and the lorry was travelling in the other direction. Witnesses can call police on (01562) 820888.
