REDDITCH Neighbourhood Watch has warned townsfolk to be on their guard against bogus water-board officials who have been targeting homes in the area.
Over the last two weeks there have been several incidents where two men in their 20s have called at houses in the town claiming they needed to check the water pressure or stating there was an animal trapped in the water system.
People with concerns are asked to call 0800 783 4444 to verify the identity of a caller claiming to be from the water-board.
