IN A closely fought match, Alcester 3rds were left rueing missed opportunities which would have brought them victory. Alcester's forwards matched their opponents and the try count was also equal with Claverdon edging home by one conversion.
The Second XV game against Warley was cancelled due to the fuel crisis. It was hoped to field a fourth team on Saturday but unfortunately no opposition could be found and the Ladies match on Sunday was also cancelled.
Alcester RFC in association with Redditch company TAB-on line have now set up a website so that people can find out more about the club. It is hoped to update the site every week. Look for www.alcesterrfc.co.uk
