SATEKI Tuipulotu was desperate to put one over on his former club today -- even if it means the doghouse for the full back!

The Tongan ace was due to face his old side at Sixways for the crunch National League Division One clash between Worcester and Leeds Tykes with his Leeds-born girlfriend Rachel watching on from the stands.

However, Tuipulotu was sure she would be backing him, rather than her home town.

He said: "She'll be supporting me on Saturday -- I'll make sure about that!

"There's no way she'll be cheering for Leeds because I'm going to convert her into a Worcester fan."

Tuipulotu is still held in high regard at Headingley and holds a number of records, including the most conversions in a game and consecutive appearances for the club.

He also holds the record for amount of points scored against the Sixways outfit when playing for Leeds -- 44 in just two games.

However, he said he hoped to be totally focussed on the job in hand today -- namely beating one of Worcester's main rivals for the Division One crown.

He said earlier this week: "It is a big game but I will be treating it as any other.

"I cannot go out there and think: "I'm going to do this and that", because if you try to do that then you lose your head.

"I am really looking forward to the game and it will be nice to see some of my former team-mates but that is as far as it goes.

"What is important is that Worcester beat Leeds not that Sateki beats his old club."

Tuipulotu came to Sixways two years ago after spending three seasons at Leeds. Despite becoming a crowd favourite, he admitted he became stale and needed a new challenge.

He said: "Leeds is not really a rugby union city. They love their rugby league and football.

"Worcester is a rugby city and it really is the place to be for any professional rugby player because the facilities are just phenomenal."

He added: "I became frustrated at Leeds because we'd tried so hard to win promotion and in the end it didn't look as if we would ever do it.

"My ambition is to play in the Premiership and I think with Worcester, I've got a better chance of winning things."
