IS it the water or is it the modern way of life, not to have good manners? If it be the latter then the leading citizens of our town must be very "with it".
I was disgusted to read of a senior councillor belittling a fellow councillor, albeit that he has since apologised and, secondly, that the offended group walked out in a childish display of pique.
There was a time when we looked up to our councillors. If they can't behave in an adult fashion, what chance do we have with our schoolchildren?
