PHIL Mullen is backing his Evesham United to bounce back from the loss of their unbeaten run and stay on the road to FA Cup success.

The Robins visit Dr Martens League Western Division rivals Gloucester City in the first qualifying round tomorrow (3pm), having lost to Bilston Town in a midweek Dr Martens Cup tie.

Mullen, who is expected to return to his first-choice line-up after making several changes for the Bilston game, said: "It was disappointing but in the context of everything else, the Dr Martens Cup is not that important.

"Gloucester have had a pretty good start and haven't lost a game either. But the lads fear nobody at our level and as long as we continue to apply ourselves as we have done, we can get a result.

"We certainly think it will be a tough game for us, but hopefully we will make it a difficult game for them."
