SNATCH (18), Guy Ritchie's long-awaited follow-up to the phenomenally successful Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, is showing at Malvern Cinema for a week from today (Friday).

The success of Lock, Stock... launched a whole slew of Brit crime flicks.

Starring Jason Statham, Stephen Graham, hardman-footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones and American guest Brad Pitt, Snatch is once again a stylish thriller set in London gangland, this time with a plot revolving around diamonds and boxing.

Snatch is showing daily, except Wednesday, at 7.30pm, with Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday matinees at 3pm.

Open Your Eyes (15), a Spanish thriller with subtitles, is showing for one night only on Wednesday, September 20, at 7.30pm.

Directed by Alejandro Amenabr, who's described as "one of Spanish cinema's brightest new talents" by Empire, it is a haunting story which combines the unexplained, science fiction, horror and melodrama.

Playboy Cesar is a man who has everything - until he wakes up after a car crash to find his good looks destroyed and accused of a murder he did not commit.
