ONE local company has seen a silver lining to the cloud of the fuel crisis.
Midlands Communications, based in Upton, which sells equipment for teleconferencing, says inquiries have doubled since the start of the crisis.
The company says its products provide the business community with an alternative to extensive travelling for meetings.
Company MD Keith Davis said: "Our inquiries have increased by 100 per cent since the crisis started to loom, and some of those inquiries have already translated into orders.
"People who have placed orders with us will be ready for the next crisis, if there is one, and most importantly they will have changed the way they do business.
"Right now, we're hiring some equipment to West Mercia Police, which will improve their communications during this crisis."
