ORGANISERS of major weekend events in Malvern and Bromyard are determined that they should go ahead.
A spokesman for Van-fest, at the Three Counties Showground, said van owners were a hardy bunch.
Simon Holloway said the event, now in its seventh year, would still attract up to 4,000 visitors from around the world, many camping on site.
He said he expected more to stay over after the last day, Sunday, to allow maximum time for the situation to settle down.
Organisers of the Bromyard Folk Festival and are arranging for a ferry service between the Worcester rail stations and the festival site, off the Stourport Road. It begin operate from late Friday, and will match train arrival times, where possible.
The Three Counties Agricultural Society says it remains positive about prospects for the Malvern Autumn Show and Country Fair next weekend.
