TWO Kidderminster churches have got the go ahead to improve facilities.
Planners have agreed an extension and alterations at St George's Church, Radford Avenue, which needs a bigger parish office and a room for meetings.
A Wyre Forest District Council Planning (Development Control) Committee decision also allowed plans for a new entrance at St Cecilia's Church, Hoo Road, and a kitchen extension.
The application was approved despite two letters highlighting worries about car parking overspill into the street.
Planning officers recommended approval pointing out there were only minor changes to a scheme first approved in 1993 and that the plan did not affect the original car parking layout.
