LAST weekend James Calado from Cropthorne competed in the Inter Nations Kart Championships which this year was held in Ireland.
He had been selected to join a team of this country's top formula cadet drivers to compete against the best from Scotland, Wales, Northern and Southern Ireland.
Having fought in four qualifying heats, the youngster scored heavily for the eventual winners with two wins, a second and a third placed finish.
