Cinderford Town (0) 0
Bromsgrove Rovers (1) 1
ROVERS took three valuable points away from home thanks to an early strike from defender Mark Burrow.
Bromsgrove forced two corners in quick succession and from the second one in the tenth minute, Burrow found himself unmarked six yards out and coolly headed home his third of the season.
Mark Benbow missed a glorious opportunity to increase Rovers's lead on 20 minutes, firing wide after good work by Burrow.
Burrow continued to create problems for the Cinderford defence with his positive running right up to the half-time whistle.
Rovers opened the second half well when Burrow put Sutton away.
He beat Craig Chaplain in the home goal but could only watch in dismay as his shot hit the post and was cleared by a grateful defence.
The Rovers back-line found themselves fully occupied in the closing stages of the game but Gabbidon never looked like being beaten.
Rovers: Gabbidon, Frost, Ulfig, Townsend, Joynson, Cooksey, Benbow, Burrow, Sutton, Burgess, McWilliam.
Rovers man of the match: Mark Burrow. Attendance: 125.
