A FURNITURE recycling project, based at a unit in Kidderminster's Lisle Avenue, is designed to provide used and second-hand items to those in financial need.
Lottery funding allowed the network to appoint furniture manager Neil Pollard and Lynn Betts to deal with sales and administration.
Community Development worker Ellen Coe said: "It is our aim to provide furniture to people who are in financial need, often identified by a statutory agency or professional support group.
"Over the last 12 months we have made over 1,500 deliveries.
"We have more than doubled our turnover, but we need to continue this growth and encourage people to use our service.
"Sometimes we can supply single beds for as little as £5 including delivery."
