WILLOW MARSH FISHERY

Pleasure fishing produced excellent weights with the top angler catching a 21lb mirror carp on Dragonfly Pool.

On Sandpipers Pool plenty of 8lb to 10lb carp have been caught on sweetcorn and meat baits.

SHATTERFORD LAKES

Last week's top trout angler landed 50 rainbows to 2.25lb using a muddler on the Wyre Dell Lake.

Also on the Wyre Dell a catch of 40 to 2.25lb was caught with a white bug, while a white fritz on Wyre Dell and Masters Lakes accounted for 35 to 1.5lb.

Another angler fishing both lakes caught 15 to 2lb using a daddy long legs.

On the coarse scene, five catfish to 29lb were caught with squid on the Erics Lake.

One angler landed a 24lb 7oz catfish and two mirror carp to 13lb 7oz using boilies on the Erics, while three catfish to 25lb and a common to 19lb were taken with meat on the Stuarts.

Boilies on the Stuarts attracted three mirror carp to 27lb, two common to 19lb and a catfish of 15lb.

The Stella produced good bags of roach, perch, bream, and carp, falling mainly to maggots and casters.
