A FIFTEEN-year-old boy was viciously punched and kicked by an older youth who stole his bicycle and rode off.

The offender punched the youngster in the face before kicking him to the ground during the brutal attack in the Aldi store car park in Green Street, Kidderminster.

He continued to kick the victim while he was on the floor before riding off towards the town centre on the black Cascade 21-gear bike, which has a carbon fibre frame with silver and green lettering.

The boy sustained bruising and swelling to various parts of the body from the attacker, who is described as tall with tanned skin and black hair, and wearing black jeans at the time of the incident on Friday at 2.30pm.

A Kidderminster Police spokesman said: "This was a particularly vicious attack which is made all the more worse by the fact it involves a young lad. We are very keen to catch the offender."

Anyone with information about the attack should call Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
