AVONCROFT CC recorded their third win of the season in a seven wicket win over lowly Alvechurch.
But the victory still means they will finish in the bottom three ahead of their match against Cape Hill on Saturday.
Dismissing the home side for just 58, Croft's batsman motored to victory in the 11th over with Pete Juke crashing a quick 27 and Jon Bird a breezy 15 not out.
Croft's bowlers had earlier taken control of the game with some fine bowling from Paul Athey (4-5), Craig Southwick (2-17), Bob Irish (2-8) and Steve Reynolds (2-9).
Guy Weston pouched four catches at slip to back up the bowlers.
