MAY I just thank members of the Broadway Cricket Club who organised and carried out the three days coaching for Broadway children between the ages of seven and fourteen years old. Thanks are also due to The Misses Barrie Trust for financing the event.
The weather stayed good, only just, and the youngsters all enjoyed themselves. Some of the bowling actions of the smaller boys were great.
Cricket, lovely cricket. Played for pleasure as it was meant to be played and well worth watching.
