MORE than 2,000 visitors enjoyed farming fun in the sun at an historic show in Upton Warren, on Saturday.
The Bromsgrove and District Farmers' Club Annual Show dates back around 100 years and the Millennium event boasted more attractions than ever.
Held at Greenfield's Farm, Worcester Road, the morning was dedicated to agricultural classes but the afternoon was given up to attractions for all the family.
These included tug-of-war heats, a children's gymkhana and fun dog show, handicraft displays, ploughing matches and a pets' corner.
Visitors could also have a go at a 'bash the piano' contest where competitors had to smash up the instrument into tiny bits and post it through a letter box on a skip.
Show secretary Christine Gibbs said: "The weather was fantastic.
"We have had lots of compliments following the show and a good day was had by all."
