The first round of the Worcester League's Bernard Finnegan Cup saw an outstanding individual performance from Gavin Warren of Claines who netted eight times in a 13-1 rout of AFC Vauxhall. Chris Atkinson also helped himself to a hat-trick.

In the same competition, Ian Jobson scored four times for AFC Mazak who crushed Kays Athletico 8-3 and Daniel Bennett notched a hat-trick as Royal Mail Sports beat Wyvern 5-2.

Daryl Justice(3) and Richard Gardiner (2) were on target in the All Blacks 5-3 win at St Johns Sports and a brace each from David Hughes and James Harding saw The Dovey go through 5-3 against Southside.

In the Sunday League, Darren Tafft netted twice for Tolladine who won 5-1 at County Sports and Sean Woods grabbed a hat-trick as Lakeside Sports beat Worcester Corinthians 4-0.

An 11-goal thriller at Bringsty saw the home team go down 7-4 to Virgin Sports, Darren Bishop cracking a hat-trick Ro Bringsty David Collings doing likewise for the Virgin.

There were two goals each for Mark Suthard of St George's Sports who beat Malvern Radar 3-0; Scott Corner in Malvern Premier's 4-3 home win over Oak Apple; Jason Lloyd as Beauchamp AFC won 5-0 at Plumbers Arm's and Ryan Hill of Herefordshire Bulls, 3-2 winners at Severnside.

On Saturday, two goals from Gordon Beauchamp helped Kempsey to a 4-1 win at Crown & Anchor while there was a brace each for Des Cox and Steve Pitcher as Littleton beat Archdales 5-2. A Roger Denby strike gave Droitwich Spa victory over hallow and a single goal from Chris Davies of Malvern Rangers gave his side three points against Bishampton.

In Division One Fox & Goose were 3-0 down against Portobello but Ken Storey blasted five second half goals as they came back to win 8-3. Powick's John Hodgetts netted all four goals in Powick's 4-0 success at West Malvern and James Hill fired a hat-trick for Koinonia who shared ten goals with Oak Apple. Vic Dobbins and Dan Newell both bagged two as Dew Drop hammered Spetchley Harriers 7-2 and a brace from Steve Freear helped Goodrest Sports to a 3-1 home win over Plumbers Arms.
