DRUG addiction led a Stourport man into crime, Kidderminster magistrates have heard.
Adam Garfield, 20, had been involved with drugs since he was 14, his solicitor, Graham Morgan, told the court.
Offences continued when he was on bail, after he was put on probation and while he was receiving professional, help, said Mr Morgan.
Garfield, of Bewdley Road North, admitted thefts of tools, a phone and coffee from Countrywide Stores, TJ Hughes, Waitrose and Thompson and Parkes, in Kidderminster. He was ordered to carry out 120 hours of community work and pay £118 costs and £70 compensation.
