ONE hundred years after Elgar's Dream of Gerontius was first performed, an anniversary concert is taking place in Birmingham.
Tickets were allotted by ballot but Lillian Stockton of Malvern Festival Chorus has managed to lay her hands on 16, which she is offering to anyone interested in attending the concert on Wednesday, October 4.
These are priced at £29 and include coach fare.
