SINGERS interested in taking part in a national event are being invited to attend taster sessions in Malvern in the next two weeks.
Sing 2000, a Millennium Commission Lottery project, will include local, regional and national events, ending with a concert in London's Westminster Central Hall.
Conductor Carol Green has already had some inquiries from local people and is inviting anyone interested to initial free rehearsals in Malvern.
Adults can attend a rehearsal of the Sing for Pleasure choir at Malvern Hills College on Tuesday, September 12 and children, eight to 13, can go to a rehearsal of Malvern Junior Choir at Grove Junior School on Monday, September 18.
