THE opening services in connection with the new Methodist Free Church situated in Mount Pleasant are announced for tomorrow.
We understand that the church is fitted up with the electric light. The building is well lighted and perfectly ventilated and possesses excellent acoustic properties.
Everything possible has been done for the comfort of worshippers in the hope that arrangements made for the opening services, which will be conducted by Rev F Galpin, will prove a great success.
A public tea will be held in the schoolroom on Monday and in the evening, Rev Galpin will deliver a lecture on "The Present Position of China."
