NEAR perfect show weather and a massive attendance have delighted organisers of last Saturday's Moreton Show.

Show society secretary Tim Gardner said: "I was pretty pleased with it. The sun shone and people kept coming until 3pm when it rained. But for that it was perfect show weather."
Those people that kept coming have given the show what could be one of its best-ever attendance records. Mr Gardner said: "There were more cars than I have seen in 20 years."
This could partly be due to reorganisation of parking and horse rings, an arrangement Mr Gardner said had worked well.
