VILLAGE HALL MEETING
Following the refusal of a lottery grant for the village hall, there will be a meeting to consider future plans for the hall on September14, at 7.30pm, in the hall.
SUNFLOWER JUDGING: Takes place today (Thursday) when plants will be measured. Results will be announced at the craft and produce show in the village hall on September 16.
JACKDAW'S CASTLE: The sum of £10,000 was raised at the open day at Jackdaw's Castle, which will be split between the Air Ambulance and racing welfare charities. The stall for Condicote raised £400 for the village hall fund.
CHURCH NEWS: On Sunday, morning prayer at St Nicholas will be taken by Serena Lancaster. The PCC is seeking a new treasurer who needs to be computer literate. If you can help, please contact Judy Formby on 01451 830439.
The harvest festival will take place on September 24 and anyone who would like to help with arrangements should contact Chris Wynn on 01451 830389.
